The Pack Horse Inn is your quintessential British country pub. Visitors are invited to enjoy our sunny beer garden in the summer looking out over the local farmer’s Dexter and Highland Cows, and cosy bar in the winter with the roaring fire and a pint of well kept ale.
We have 5 modest bedrooms above the bar and restaurant, all with en-suite facilities. What our guests love most about staying at The Pack is the fantastic location near to the A1 and the coast, the competitive pricing and the chance to indulge in a delicious meal in our restaurant.
The pack Horse changed hands in January 2023, the new owners bringing a new lease of life to the pub. The food at the Pack Horse is very much focussed on flavour, serving very good hearty pub food. We do our best to use as much local produce as possible, and we try to cater to all dietary needs.
If you are attending a wedding in the area, we are the perfect place to rest your head. There are many wedding venues within a 10 mile radius, including Ellingham Hall, Charlton Hall, Doxford Hall, Doxford Barns, Newton Hall.
